Municipal Sludge Dewatering by Using Geotextile Tube, Moldova

In Moldova, ACETube^® were used for municipal sludge dewatering and relevant pollution problems.

A simple and cost-effective solution is to pump the polymer-conditioning sludge into a specially-fabricated geotextile tube and then function of dewatering works under gravity over time. Solid waste will be contained inside the tube once the dewatering process is completed and the solid wasted material will be took to a controlled facility for disposal.

More than 600,000 cubic meters had been treated for this case.
Filtration effects: filtrated liquid is clean, filtration efficiency and dewatering rate is high so filled volume is great as well. Therefore, economical effect is excellent.
