About
Geosynthetic Clay Liners Consisting of Two or Three Layers of Geosynthetics
Enclosing a Layer of Sodium Bentonite
ACELiner™ Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs) are hydraulic barriers consisting of three or four layers of materials. The three-layer product consists of a layer of nonwoven geotextile, a layer of woven geotextile and a core layer of natural or processed sodium bentonite. The four-layer product has an extra layer of geomembrane in comparison to the three-layer product. ACELiner™ geosynthetic clay liners have extremely low permeability and excellent self-healing capacity to prevent oozing of water, leachate or other liquids. ACELiner™ geosynthetic clay liners can be used for both barrier and containment requirements, such as landfill liners and caps, channel liners and artificial ponds, etc.
